Torsby
is a small town population-wise, but a big one when it comes
to skiing and sports. The majority of it’s people have some
kind of interest in such. This being so have developed a lot
of possibilities for skiers, like: Hovfjallet which is an establishment
for both downhill and cross-country skiing. Or Valberget (also
a biathlon shooting range), Mattila, Langberget and Branas which
are all similar to Hovfjallet.
Facilities for sports
Other facilities for training are Torsby Bath House with an
indoor swimming pool which was constructed in the year 2000,
some gyms, running tracks, a bunch of soccer pitches, an indoor
sports center and many other facilities for sports.
If you wish to spend money the stores will be open for you.
Torsby has got Supermarkets, two sports stores, clothes stores,
restaurants, a health food store and a large number of other
stores as well.
If you get injuried
Unfortunately sometimes skiing is related to injuries. If so,
a doctor will come in handy. Torsby has got a great hospital.
It is the second largest in Varmland. Of course there are services
like massage, bone-setting etc. too.
A cheap holiday in Torsby
Where to stay then? Where? Torsby is a small town and this means
the effort that is required to get a place to live in – is not
big. You could choose a cheap, small, big, expensive or maybe
normal apartment or house. Whatever you’d like – there are a
great variety of options in this section, just as it is in many
